OUR PARTNERS Almost all the companies are situated in the different departments of the Vigo's fishing harbour. This harbour (first european harbour in fish unloadings) has been doing strong economic investments to modernize and change its installations. This investments will materialize soon in new fush markets, spacious departments for wholesalers, etc... All this, and the building of new motorways, that will comunicate even better the city of Vigo with the more important places of the Country, will make, in a short time, Vigo's harbour one of the more competitive of the european comunity. Our professionals, with a large comercial experience, purchase the fresh fish at the fishing harbour's fish market or at any of the fish markets of the villages close by. The especies that come to the harbour and are comercialized (once they are caught by our fleet) come, mainly, from Grande Sole and Spain. The knowledge of the product is basic, in order to get to the consumer as fresh as when is caught. Most of our partners 90% commercialize fresh fish, while a 5% also commercialize mollusks, crustaceans and cephalopods. Once the fish is bought by our profesionals it is taken to several departments provided with fresh water, purified seawater, electric power, preservations rooms, etc., where the selection of species by its size and quality and its cleaning and classification is done, as well as its preparation and placing in appropriate packagings for its future distribution.
